The Atlanta Beltline is a system of walking and biking trails that run through the city of Atlanta, Georgia with a mission to enhance mobility, foster culture, and improve connectivity around the city. It has the potential to be used by many in the Atlanta area but struggles to be consistently visible and easily accessible. By introducing new wayfinding communication, this growing system will help the Atlanta Beltline truly meet its mission of mobility, culture, and connection.

Each major trail of the Atlanta Beltline intersects and creates a loop around the city of Atlanta

Each color gives trails an independent identity while the intersection icons gives users an easy understanding of how to transfer between trails. Entrance pillars reinforce trail identification and inform users of attractions along their trail of choice.
High-traffic community hubs that give access to the Atlanta Beltline like Ponce City Market are prime locations for introducing the new wayfinding system.
Intersection communications are clear and highly visible without interrupting user activity on the trails.
Entrance markers clearly identify any trail entrance big or small during the day or night.
